Use your card to make in-store purchases, online purchases, or withdraw cash from an ATM. When you use your Visa Debit Card, funds are withdrawn directly from your share draft account.

Using your Debit Card as a debit transaction requires you to use your PIN. This option works great in situations where you may need cash back or the retailer only allows debit transactions. If you would like to choose your own PIN number, contact the Credit Union at 319-291-4375.

For added security to your account, sign up for Brella

Brella allows cardholders to do the following:

• View balance information for a primary account attached to a debit card
• Receive transaction alerts in the Brella application
• Receive suspected fraud alerts
• Set up alerts for transactions exceeding a certain dollar amount, card-not-present transactions, and international transactions

Brella also allows cardholders to take control of their account using transaction control. With transaction control, if your card is lost or stolen, or you just want to pause it while traveling, you can block or unblock your card with the quick tap of a button.

Brella is available as a mobile application and online. The mobile application is available as a free download from the iTunes® App Store or Google Play™.

Cardholders can access Brella from a personal computer (PC) or laptop by clicking here. Brella offers the same features whether accessed from a mobile device, PC, or laptop.

Travel Alerts - If you plan to use your Visa Debit Card when traveling out of state, please remember to contact the Credit Union at 319-291-4375. This will prevent your card being blocked out of state.

Large Purchases - If you need your daily limit temporarily increased for a large purchase(s), please contact the Credit Union at 319-291-4375, Monday- Friday 8AM – 5PM CST.

Lost/Stolen Debit Card Reporting
If your Public Employees Credit Union Debit Card is lost or stolen, you may call 1-800-383-8000. Call as soon as possible and if you are a Brella user, go to Transaction Control and temporarily block your card.
